The Fruit Bowl

The Fruit Bowl is THE GO TO specialty yacht grocer on the Island. Only a short walk from IGY Marina, the Fruit Bowl stocks fresh fruits, vegetables,dry goods and even has fresh fish and exotic game for sale. If you speak to one of the owners they can arrange delivery of your purchased items to the dock (tips are appreciated by the drivers).

Cost U Less

This large box food retailer is set up a bit like Sam's Club or Restaurant depot. This market is a good choice for basic fruits, vegetables, proteins, water and dry bulk. They also have a wine and beer selection that is pretty good and priced decently compared to other shops on the Island. If you sign up for a membership card you can get points to spend later on crew booze!

I wasn't aware of this service when I was in St. Thomas but it appears they handle many large provisioning accounts on the island. If I have the budget and time, I will give them a try next time I am there.

Yacht Chandlers

The Yacht Chandlers here are located right in the IGY Marina and carry a small selection of commonly used hard to find items such as frozen Croissants and honeycomb. They can also handle all your provisioning needs, although I have never used them for this service.

Gourmet Gallery

Located a short 3 minute taxi ride from the IGY Marina, this little grocery has some items I couldn't find elsewhere like Haagen-Dazs Ice cream. I will say that I didn't receive the best customer service here and the prices where even higher than the island norm.
