Publix

There are two Publix in Key West that have all your basic dry goods and grocery items. You will need a car or a cab to go to either one and cab service on the Island is sometimes a little slow so take that into account on your provisioning day.

This little pastry shop will take care of your frozen-before-proofing pastries and breads for your trip. Its best to stop in and speak with someone about your order a few days before you need it.

KEY WEST

Key West is a fun little town if your lucky enough to land there. (especially if you have some time off).

Fausto's food palace

This is a small but complete grocery within walking distance of the marinas. I found this shop to be my most frequented as I had a small galley and we where doing a lot of parties and dinner cruises. I didn't always have time to get a taxi to the Publix and I was relieved to find a great selection of berries, fruits, produce and dry goods. they also have a grab and go deli for taking care of crew lunch on provisioning/hectic days. The butcher was very accommodating to my special request and broke down 10lbs of chicken for me in just a few minutes..( I'm sure the 10 spot helped)

It says on their website they offer home/yacht delivery but I have not used this service yet. I definitely will next time I'm there.

I used Cakes By Karol when I had a last minute birthday come up and the owner wanted a special cake. My baking and decorating skills don't go far past average so I enlisted the help of this shop. I ended up with an amazing cake and they worked me in despite a tight turn around time. I Highly recommend
